I am the half 1st cousin, 5 times removed of Jacob Fryman. Our common ancestor was Nicholas Saum, the German immigrant. I descend from his first unknown wife, while Jacob descends from Nicholas' 2nd wife, Frances Deupes. They were Jacob Fryman's maternal grandparents. Nicholas was my 5th great-grandfather. I have quite a bit of information on the Saum/Fryman branches and would be interested in exchanging information with others who could help fill in my blanks.
My paternal side consists of my Saum grandmother & Hendershott grandfather. So I am also most interested in the ancestors of Mary Ann Hendershot who married Jacob's son Isaac, as mine were also Hendershot further back in the linage. I am in the Hendershot Clan C.
