Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Your Fryman is almost definitely Jesse Fryman, b. Sept. 1821 Nicholas Co., Ky, whose father is probably Jacob Fryman. Jesse, not Lewis, married Sarah "Sallie" Feeback 20 Feb 1844 in Nicholas Co., Ky. They were in the 1860 and 1870 Cs records of Effingham Co., Ills. Their sons were George, b. ca 1844; Albert M., b. ca 1848; Joseph Madison, b. ca 1850; William H., b. ca 1862. This is not my lineage, I know nothing further about them, Alma
