I am seeking information on Philip and Catherine Snapp Fryman who settled Fryman's branch of Beaver Creek in Nicholas County, Kentucky around 1795. Philip (b. Johan Philipps Freymann at Langenselbold, Hesse, Germany in 1742) was the son of Jacob Fryman (b. Johan Jacob Freymann at Langenselbold, Hesse, Germany in 1702) of Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Catherine was the daughter of George Snapp (b. Hans Georg Schnepp at Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France in 1726). Philip and Catherine's children are:
1. ----? Fryman (son) 1772?-1792?
2. George ca.1780-? m. Margaret Snapp
3. Mary 1776-aft.1860 m. Christian Waggoner
4. Angnessa 1783-?
5. Philip ca.1787-aft.1860 m. Catherine Baker
6. Nancy ca.1790-? m. Peter Rickerd (Reischert)
7. Henry R. 1791-1878 m. Elizabeth Baker
8. Jacob 1794-aft.1860 m. Catherine Snapp

As you can see, the above material is incomplete. If any of you out there have knowledge of this family; please write me. I welcome any sources or information on this family.
