Robert Freymoyer Sr.                

Robert S. Freymoyer Sr., 58, Laureldale, passed away Sept. 11, 2009, of natural causes in Reading Hospital, where he was a patient since last Thursday.

He was the widower of Virginia H. Freymoyer, who passed away in 2008.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John G. Freymoyer Sr.

He was employed at Carpenter Steel as a saw operator for more than 15 years.

Surviving are one son, Robert S. Freymoyer Jr., Mount Penn; stepsons, Michael A. Pierce, Womelsdorf; and Morris Pierce, Oley; and a stepdaughter, Rosalie Clark, Temple.

Other survivors include a brother, John G. Freymoyer Jr., Mount Penn; and two sisters, Debra Bacrwald, Mount Penn; and Sandy Funk, Reading.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, nieces and nephews, and cousins and their families.

He was predeceased by his sister, Carol.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Auman Funeral Homes, Reiffton. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. www.mem.com.
