This Casper Fuch [at least it looks like the same Casper Fuch] has been found in the 1860 Census.

Does anyone know the following family?
1860 New York, Kings County, Brooklyn, 2nd District, 15th Ward, sheet #32, Page #168, MF Roll# 773, book 2, Dw# 152, Line# 14:
Fox, Caspar, age 72, occ: Tailor, bpl:Germany
Fox, Francesca, age 67, bpl:Germany
Fox, Josephine, age 41, occ: Tailores, bpl:Germany

I believe that this would/could be the son of Caspar and Francesca.
1860 New York, Kings County, Brooklyn, 2nd District, 14th Ward, sheet #48, Page #386, MF Roll# 773, book 1, Dw# 1566, Line# 40:
Fuch, Ferinand, age 34, occ: ?spikemaker, bpl: Brisem
Barbara, age 28, bpl: Wurtemberg
Margaret, age 3, bpl:NY
Rachael, age 1, bpl:NY

I do not find these families in the 1870 census.
In the 1870 I find Josephine in her sister's household. The husband's surname is difficult to make out and since I can not find it in the 1860 nor the 1880s, I suspect that I have read it wrong.

1870 New York, Kings County, Brooklyn, 2nd District, 16th Ward, sheet #19, Page #770, MF Roll# 957, book 1, Dw# 169, Line# 10:
Berger, Anton, age 40, occ: shoemaker, bpl: Wurtenberger
Margaret, age 49, bpl: Prussia
Bernhart, age 16, bpl: NY
Henry, age 14, bpl:NY
Anton, age 10, bpl:NY
Terrese, age 7, bpl:NY
Ferdinand, age 4, bpl:NY
FUCHS, Josephine, age 51, bpl: Baden

I believe that these Fuchs were part of the group that immigrated in 1852 aboard the Eastern Queen. And are found in the Family Registers of the Catholic Church in the parrish of Imnau, Germany.

I am surprised that this family did not end up in Cambria Cty., PA where Francesca's brother Silvester Haid had eventually settled. Silvester Haid and family emigratted in 1839. In fact there are a number of families in these family register who emigrated in 1839.

Any thoughts appreciated.
