Hello Rachael!

Yes, I am a direct descendant (on my mother's side) of Andreas Fuchs and his wife Magdalena Degen! We descend directly from their son Jacob Fuchs (Futch) and his wife Margaretha (maiden name unknown).

We know that Jacob Fuchs (Futch) and his wife came to New Bern, North Carolina ca 1710 with Baron von Graffenreid of Switzerland. At some later point they began moving south, ending up in present-day Pender and New Hanover Counties of North Carolina. (Our particular line stayed in North Carolina, while many descendants moved south and west.)

I would love to exchange info with you! Unfortunately at the moment my computer is being very annoying; it won't even let me send or receive emails!!! But I plan to buy a new computer very soon, I think time is running out on this old machine of mine!

Sincerely,
Patti
