Albert Fuchs, mid to late 1800s, Switzerland/Germany

Hi,

I'm trying to track down Albert Fuchs born around 1860 to 1880 in either German-Switzerland or Germany. He met and married a touring concert pianist who's last name was Gaylor/Gayelr/Gaylr or similar, probably of either English or Swiss descent. Family rumour is that both families were well to do and socially prominent, although her family cut her out for marrying down so presumably were (or, at least, saw themselves) as higher than the Fuchs family.

In 1902 (or thereabouts) they were in Bonn where they had a daughter named Helen or Helene (known through most of her life as Nellie).

At some point before 1930 they moved to London and changed their last name to Fox, this points to it being either just before, during or after the First World War.

Nellie married Harold Bate sometime before 1930.

We have no information about Albert or his wife.

Any information gratefully received.

Stephen
