I posted this query in spanish but I have not had any responses. I will post it in english, hopefully I'll get some response. I want to know more about my family on my fathers' side with the Fuentes surname. My father was born in Cuba. His father was born either in Spain or Cuba. My fathers' name was Faustino Fuentes. My grandfathers' name was Constantino Fuentes.I have alot of relatives in Cuba whom I do not know. My father was born in the Province of Pinar del Rio, in the town of San Cristobal. I inquired about the origin of the name at sephardim.com and had been told that this name originated in Spain and that it was a very popular surname there. I also found out that the name was of Sephardic origin also, meaning of the Sephardic Jews from Spain. I do not know much about my family in Cuba but if anybody has the slightest bit of information or anything pertaining to the Fuentes surname I would greatly appreciate it, in turn anything that I find out, I will post.
