Hi Patricia, Thanks for the posting.
I am not having very good luck with my Fuentes research so have not gotten back to far. My earliest Fuentes is Antonio Fuentes from Montery N.L. Mexico married Alejandra Ruiz, she was from Montery as well. I have no dates for these two. One of the son's from this marriage was Apolonio Ruiz Fuentes born April 10, 1871 in Linares N.L. Mexico and he married (2) Julia Lesa Sanchez. Apolonio and Julia were the parentes of Manuel Sanchez Fuentes,my husband's father, who was born in San Nicholas De La Garzas, Mexico. Apolonio and family moved to San Antonio, Texas at some point in time. Many of the Fuentes' stayed in or near San Antonio, but some moved on. I have a Magdalino Fuentes, brother to Manuel Sanchez Fuentes, who died in Upland, California in 1993. His family still lives in California.
