Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Hello, this is just a quick message in reply to your last post. You wrote: " personally just want MY History thats it,I would never want to be carded one,I dont respect them at all,"... although everyone is intitled to their own opinion, my opinion is that if your family IS of Cherokee/Creek descent, you should be proud of it. If you don't respect them why even worry about being Cherokee or even more, why even worry if any of them walked those horrible Trail of Tears? It would be the same thing if someone one was German and hated them all because of Hitler, that would be dumb. I just think it is a little inconsiderate to your family but then this is only my opinion. Also, to be considered Cherokee, you must find a relative whose name is on at least the Dawes roll. Check with Starr's list. Hope you find what you're looking for. I am very proud of all the lines running through me.
