Hi Frank, just to clear it a little I am Richard Fuggle born 1952 in Folkestone, Ashley (who you have been conversing with) is my cousin, his dad is Ernest my dad is Louis Henry Fuggle born 9 Sept 1926 Folkestone my sister is Trudie Virginia (also known to you) born 6 June 1957 Folkestone. our Grandfather is Louis Octavias Augustus Fuggle born February 1900 Folkestone married Helen Allan in the 1920's.
I know that our great grandad came from Tenterden and was called Louis and I believe his dad was as well. Our grandad came from a large family with one sister living in Edenbridge, another went to Canada a sister in Folkestone and i believe a brother somewhere.
The family split up towards the end of the 1800's with our side settling in Folkestone, any info you have would be interesting.
I understand that the name Louis is a bit of a tradition with the family and has been passed down for many years to the first son (whoops my parents broke with tradition).
Thanks
