Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

In my family tree I have the following:John Fulcher born 7 June 1838, Great Yarmouth, England. Died 15 Aug 1899 in
Eastham, Mass. He was 14 and an apprentice on a ship that wrecked off the Eastham shores in the spring of 1852. The British
captain lost his bearings off Cape Cod and piled the brig Maragret of East Hartlepool, England onto Nauset Beach; John
Fulcher tucked the ship's cat in his shirt and swam ashore. If interested I have more on him and his family.
