You are so sweet Fran,, thanks for the response.! The names you listed did not sound familiar..the local's claim that there are 2 sets of Mays's. My family and my Uncle Jack (Olan Leonard) Mays's. Uncle Jacks Mays' were the Mt. Pleasant Mays'. ha Actually he and my dad are 5th cousins..My mothers sister Tessie Harveymarried Jack Mays
Jack is descendant of Anderson Mays, my dad from Luther Brown Mays.
I would like any info you have on Mary Anne Fulchers husband William Thomas Harvey. I think I may have mistakenly called him WIlliam Edwin..my grandad was Thomas Edwin..ha
I will look through the papers I have on my uncle Jacks Mays family. My cousin just sent them to me and see if I can find some of the names you listed.
THere is a gathering tomorrow at Amherst Court House of the Bowling/Mays clan. I was invited, but can't go. I may call a cousin to see if they will go in my place. COuld get some good info.
THere is a good family page my cousin put out on family tree maker.com on Luther Brown Mays. You can get some Mays names from that..
Have a great day, Cheryl
