I am a descendant of the John Fulcher born in Amherst County in 1763 and married to Elizabeth Huckstep. Our family has not been able to trace further back and I was very interested in the information you had on the father, John, born around 1715. Amherst was a part of Henrico County until 1728, part of Goochland until 1744, and part of Albemarle until 1763 when it became a separate county. Do you have information from those counties?

I have searched wills and deeds in Amherst and Albemarle to try to find how the Fulcher property has been passed down over the years as I have inherited some and bought some of the original farm.
