Hi Valerie, I was just looking over old info. and came across your posting I had copied. As I was researching my info. based on your posting...I found a huge glitch in my information...boo hoo. I don't know when I made this error, perhaps you can help. !
YOur posting stated info. about Jesse Mays and a brother Pierce. When I pulled his name up...I found my 3rd great grandfather had 2 different wives and families...info. I had interred into my ftm. program! It must be a mistake.
I have my 3rd g grandfather Robert Mays b 1731 married to Elizabeth Bolling with 9 children, one was Joseph. However, when I pulled Jesse up, I have his parents as Robert Mays born 1731 m. to SUsannah Wade! Their children are listed as Joseph, Jesse, Pierce, Ballenger and Polly. I have no idea when or how I got this info. crossed and am not sure how to fix it unless someone has court doc.
I have info. that both Robert's parents were John Mease and Mary Drury.!
If you can help, I would appreciate it!
