John was washed up from the shipwreck of the Margaret from East Hartpoole, England. John himself was born in 1837 in Great Yarmouth, England. He was 14 when it happened. He was found on Nauset Beach by Freeman Mayo,cared for by them and also cared for by Capt. Samuel Knowles. He married Josephine Helena Doane daughter of Capt. Ezekiel Doane and Rachel A. Lincoln. John and Josephine had 10 kids; Dawson Lincoln, Fred William, Alfred James (A.J.), John Gregory, Obed Abelino, Louis Young, Josephine Helena, Sarah Young, Ezekiel Doane (my great grandfather), Mary Jane. Ezekiel Doane Fulcher married Lillian Patterson and had several kids including Louis Young Fulcher (my grandfather) named for his uncle who died young. Louis married Helen Bassett from Chatham. Thats where they lived. They had the following children Barry Louis, Louis Richard, James Wayne, Dennis& Brian (twins, Brian's my dad), and Jill Carol.
