Many of us share the frustration of similar names living at the same time period. Here are two John F. Fulchers - one lived in New Jersey, the other from Va. One survived the war, the other died.
Amherst Co. Va: John F. Fulcher, pvt Enlisted at Massies' Mill. Killed in Action on 22 Oct. 1862 at Pocotaligo, South Carolina.
New Jersey: John F. Fulcher, pvt. Enlisted 22 Aug. 1862 and 15 Sept. 1862. Co. I. 21st Infantry Regiment. Mustard out: 19 June 1865 in Trenton, N.J.

Can anyone add anything as to who they were?
