FULCHER, Robert Sidney
Posted by: Colleen NEWTON (ID *****9980) Date: July 11, 2006 at 22:22:09

My paternal grandmother, Irene Nelly May BUCKSEY,married a Robert Sidney Fulcher, 01.09.1918 at St John's, Hackney.
Robert's father was William Fulcher(deceased)a Marble Mason. At the time of his marriage,Robert was a clerk living at Barnsbury.
I have not found his death during either war and presume that they divorced, although it was not common then.
In 1925,Irene had an illegitimate son,Cyril John(my father)to Thomas NEWTON,in Manchester. They did not marry and Irene and her mother Florence died during the Blitz in 1940 at Streatham. Iene's death certificate states that she was married to a CARTON but she was noted as BUCKSEY on the war graves site. Any info. appreciated.
