Somewhere on the Internet, I read that some Goochland Co., VA county records are in southern Tennessee, forgot where, who knows why?. My earliest proven ancestor with my surname, Richard Fulcher, b. Caroline Co., VA 1756, marched twice in Rev. War, went to Goochland to Amherst to KY in early 1800s, brother and son named John, unknown if same as John and Mary in Fluvanna Co. in Douglas Register, I think. John and Mary also in KY. Speaking of Campbells, does anyone know more about Fulchers and Campbells who married into Cash family of VA, the same Cash family that had relatives in Arkansas that produced the man in black, John R. Cash?
