Are you in NZ, then? I have written a history of the Browns for Brown Brushware. The biggest problem I had was with the BROWN surname being so common and having to trace forward instead of back i na lot of cases. I managed to get a fairly good history from JFB I in Whitechapel through to present day and found the original James and Ann Fulcher marriage docs. Also the original JFB I and Eliza Piddington marriage doc in London. I would have liked to have contacted you before but it was just by chance that I found your post again. I don't think I had seen it before as I was more intent on the Brown name and hadn't found the Fulcher-Brown marriage. The book is being printed at the moment as it was needed for Brown's 130th anniversary. The problem was that I had to research the family history and write the book at the same time, instead of getting the benefit of years of research culminating in writing a book using the information found. I think I have done a fairly good job though! Please contact me direct via s.b.d@lineone.net Notify Administrator about this message?
