Hi Colin, have read your message re. Fulcher family. Namely Robert Fulcher who was a boxer in N.Z. That was my uncle, my fathers brother. I have made quite a few inroads into researching the family name, and have found a cousin in France! Her grandmother and my grandfather were brother and sister. My grandfather came out to N.Z. in 1901 or there abouts. He went on to have 7 children 2 of whom were my father James and Robert. There was also Harry, Michael,or Mick
Hazel, Anne and Adelaide, who's name we all carry on.
My grandfather Robert came from a family of 15!! 5 who died when they were just babies from a cholera epidemic in 1875 to 1876. There was an Adelaide born in 1870 but died then another baby born 1881 when my grandfather was just 2yrs.old,
she was named Adelaide, and it is she that was my cousin in France grandmother.
Thanks for replying
