In my family database I have the Sarah Fulford who married Malachi Bell ca. 1760 as he daughter of Joseph Fulford, b. ca. 1725, son of John Fulford Jr.I don't have a mother listed. Joseph later (ca. 1748) m. Abigail Williston.However, I am not sure where I got the information.

MALACHI BELL Sept. 22, 1803 Proved Feb. Court 1804
In the name of God Amen, I Malachi Bell, being of sound mind . . I leave to my beloved wife Sarah my plantation and the easternmost part of my property during her lifetime or widowhood., the use of my negro man Cole, and at her death to be the property of my grand daughter Nancy Fulford. I also give to my wife Sarah Bell my windmill which is now building, and the money to finish it, but my four sons, two daughters and my grand daughter Nancy Fulford is to have their grinding done free. To my son Josiah 180 acres lying in the fork of the newport river. I give unto my two sons Malachi and William Bell, all the westernmost part of my land and plantation where I now live to be divided. I also give to the said two sons Malachi and William Coale Bell 220 acres of land I bought from Isaac Osteen. I give to my son David Bell that part of my plantation and land that I have lent to my wife as aforesaid, to be for his use and benefit at the death of my wife. I give to my daughter Susanna Leecraft during her life, the use and service of the negros mentioned. I give to my daughter Sarah Robertson two hundred acres of land I bought from Shepard and Roundtree, where the mill is now. To my grandson Malachi Robertson a lot in the town of Beaufort. 11 June 1779 Report from the Carteret County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia commanded by Lt. Col. Malachi Bell listed "Ensign Jn. Fulford."
May 12, 1783 Deed from Abner Bell, Blacksmith to "Newel Bell Jr. for 50 acres of land on the west side of Gales Creek.28h The deed states that the land originally was willed by Col. Joseph Bell, dec.d to Caleb and Malachi Bell
June _, 1785 Deed from Malicha Bell to John Fulford for 20 £ 200 ac. of land on the "main west branch of Gails Creek" adjoining Benj.a Oglesby and Daniel Rogers (K, p. 135).
June Court 1787 Deed From Malachi Bell to John Fulford for two hundred acres of land proved by James Parratt Esq and ordered to be registered.
Oct. 25, 1790 Deed from Malachi Bell to his granddaughter Nancy Fulford for 10 s for land on the north side of Bogue Sound "at my Westmost line." (M, p. 69)
May Court 1794 Deed of Gift from Malachi Bell to Nancy Fulford his grand daughter for a certain piece of land on Bogue Sound containing twenty five acres more or less acknowledged by Malachi Bell and ordered to be registered.
May 1794 "Malechi" Bell (his nephew) and Absalom Shepard were appointed by the court to settle the estate of Nuel Bell dec.d
Sept. 22, 1803 Malachi Bell willed his plantation and all his easternmost land to his wife Sarah and at her death to his granddaughter Nancy Fulford.
Feb. Court 1804 The court appoints Malachi Bell Guardian to Nancy Fulford. He gave bond therefore in the sum of one hundred pounds with William Fisher and Caleb Bell securities.
Feb. Court 1804 On motion of Caleb Bell, the only surviving executor of Joseph Bell decd, the court appoints David Ward, William Fisher and Joseph Bell To divide the slaves as directed by the will, to be divided amongst his testators grand children to wit: the children of Malachi Bell Decd viz: Susannah Leecraft, Josiah Bell, Malachi Bell, William C Bell, Sarah Roberson, David Bell and Nancy Fulford , daughter and representative of Elizabeth Fulford decd, and make return to court.
Feb. Court 1805 On motion of Malachi Bell, guardian of Nancy Fulford, the court appoints William Fisher and Elijah Canaday to audit accounts between him and his said ward.
