Is there any interest in people researching the Fulford line to work on a DNA project? The Cobb DNA project helped tremendously in determining which of the "unconnected" families of Cobb or Cobbs actually share a common ancestor. The test doesn't prove parentage as that it not the aim and the cost for such a test would be prohibitive. What it shows is normally the first 24 markers which show which area of the world they are from and enough markers to determine when two men have the same pattern that they do have a common ancestor back a thousand years, etc.
If there is any common interest in this project I'd be happy to be the coordinator. Yes, I do have Fulford ancestry. My great grandfather was Peter Fulford who m. Amy Seymour.
