I am researching the family of William Warren Fulford born around 1844 (GA) and married Frances Garrett and had two children: John Wesley Fulford and William Warren Fulford Jr.
William Warren Fulford Sr. died in Knoxville, TN during the Civil War. His widow Frances remarried to a Mr. Sutton.
The son John W. Fulford is my wife's Grt Grt Grandfather and buried in Lax, GA. The son William Warren Fulford Jr. disappeared from the Georgia census so he moved as a young man or died young. John W. Fulford married Elizabeth Harper, daughter of Fleming Bates Harper. They had Jacob J., Warren W., James L., Wilbur, Fleming B., and Sarah E. This family lived in Irwin county just north of Lax, GA. I am using my memory and not my notes so some of this may be in error. But trying to find more about the parents of William Warren Fulford Sr. of Irwin-Lowndes County GA.
