Fulfords of Colonial Connecticut 1640 -1740

By way of introduction, I am trying to create a family history for two of my grandchildren who are graduating high school this year (2010). I began the attempt when they were freshmen. The internet, and Ancestry.Com, have both grown in these past years, and I have been able to uncover more information. But I am still hitting brick walls.

The fist wall is Abraham Fulford of Stratford, Colony of Connecticut, who was born either in England, as some records state, or in Stratford, as other records suggest. Even his birth year is a mystery, being written as anything from 1660 to 1670. This is the 'starting point', so I'd really like some clarification as to his date and place of birth.

The second wall would be his son, Gershom. I have no location or year for his birth, either ... at least not two records that that 'match'.

So, if there is anyone on this board that is doing similar research on this line of the family, I would really welcome the chance to compare notes.

Thank you for your time.
