Hello,

Please don't think I'm being harsh about this, but perhaps you didn't understand what I wrote.

There are 2 main points to consider:

- First, "coats of arms" applied to family surnames in Europe.

- Second, the Fulkersons in America did NOT have a family surname in Europe, because our surname evolved in America.

- Therefore, we CAN'T have a true coat of arms.

Any "Fulkerson coat of arms" you might see was VERY likely made up by a (lowlife) publishing company...created for the sole purpose of appealing to our misbegotten desire for a noteworthy ancestry.

Well, the heck with them! And the heck with anyone else who flaunts his or her coat of arms! It's all just phony symbolism, compared to our REAL ancestry at www.fulkerson.org :^)

Best Wishes,
Bob Fulkerson (bob@fulkerson.org)
