I am only distantly related to William Brown Fulkerson, but do have some info on him - his father James Frederick was an older brother to my direct ancestor Richard Fulkerson. I only have record of 8 children, so I would love to know if there were more, so I can add them to my records. I have his first wife Mary Whitesides, daughter of John B. and Margaret (Sbarger) Whitesides, b 30 May 1840 in Pope Co. IL and d 23 Jan 1878 in Stockton, Rooks Co, KS. He then married Mary Elizabeth Lovell Brockman on 21 July 1878. I suspected that since she had what appeared to be two last names, she may have been married before, so maybe she had children of her own. I never looked into it though. I have James Frederick's father and mother as Richard and Gracie (Cowsert) Fulkerson. Richard's father was Frederick Fulkerson. I have found several people who have the family tied back several hundred years to the Netherlands, but have never seen any documentation for that.
