I would appreciate any info you have about us in Norway, especially how Dirck/Derrick/Frederick got to Hoorn, Holland and then to Nieuw Amsterdam with the Dutch. He appears most frequently in the records as Dirck(de noorman)Volckertszoon. There were variations but always close to this. Then when British took over, we begrudginly became Fulkerson.

Fascinating. I have been collecting tid bits for the last 60 years.
