Have finally received some information about my partner's FULLAGAR ancestors in Kent, and am posting it in the hope of making a contact.
The earliest info comes 3rd hand from a FULLAGAR cousin who researched the family many years ago. There are no sources given for this information, and I haven't yet had a chance of checking it out myself.
James FULLAGAR (b abt 1796, in Kent?) m Abigail TUCKER (b abt 1801, in ?). I assume that they married in Kent. I have a note that the banns were called on the 7, 14 & 21 September 1823, but no church is named.
James and Abigail had a son James FULLAGAR born Mar or Apr 1834 in Loose, Kent.
This James married Elizabeth M BARKER (b abt 1837, Tovill, Kent). Do not have location or date for the marriage, but they appear with children on the 1881 census as follows:

Family stories have it that Elizabeth BARKER was connected with the Barker & Dobson store which was in London at least until the 1980s. James FULLAGAR died in March 1924, two weeks before his 90th birthday.
FreeBMD shows a marriage for a Rebe Caroline FULLAGAR in Maidstone Sep qtr 1895, and my partner's mother remembers an Aunt Rebe who lived in Greys, Essex in the 1930s(?).
The Leslee shown in the census above was Lesley Max FULLAGAR my partner's gt grandfather. I am currently waiting for delivery of his birth certificate (1875 Mar qtr Maidstone) to confirm his mother's maiden name.
Lesley married Alice Georgina DAWSON in 1897 Maidstone district. They had the following children: Irene (b 1898), Stanley (b April 26 1900), Fred (b 1902), Gladys Minnie (b Jan 28 1906), Kathleen Mary (b 1910), Grace (b Aug 12 1912).
Gladys Minnie was born at Hayle Mill Cottages, Bockingford, Kent and Lesley's occupation at the time was a journeyman papermaker. I have a note that he was later a handmade papermaker at Bockingford.
I have further information about the descendants of Lesley Max FULLAGAR, but I think that can wait for another posting.
Would love to hear from anyone who has any knowledge of this FULLAGAR line
