Hi, The story goes, that my grandmother, Gertrude Fullbrook, came to Canada ( before 1920) looking for her first husband who was suppose to be a Smith ( How true???). She had a sister that we knew as Auntie Millie and a brother Hubert. Gertrude married James Smith ( she was his house keeper in Canada) after they had moved from Ontario to Quebec. There are a lot of questions unanswered about this story and other parts that don't 'make sense'.

Would have made a good scandal in the 1920's if any one knew about it.

Gertrude was born oct 24 1891 to James Fullbrook and Mary Ann Jones.

Gertrude's husband James, had a cousin named Frank. And my father's name is Frank...

If this is of any help, please feel free to contact me.
