I have a Washington Fullen, born about 1839 (age 11 in 1850 census), born in PA, son of Henry Fullen and Annetta Steif. In 1850 family was in Philadelphia, PA. Washington Fullen moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where he appears in the 1870 census. Washington was a Civil War vet, as was his brother Daniel S. Fullen (my ggg-father) and other brother Henry, who died in the Andersonville, Georgia POW camp in 1864, aged 17, of diarrhea. Daniel was wounded with a gunshot wound to the right thigh at Gettysburg and was captured by Confederates three times and was paroled each time.
