The info I have is as follows:

David was the son of John B. Humphreys. In the census he's listed as being born in NC ca. 1808. We're currently scouring the 1810 federal census to find any sign of these people.

Rebecca was born in Virginia and was 15 y/o when married in Monroe Co. IN on 2/18/1830.

They left the Greencastle area and settled in Alton, IL after their son Reuben drowned in a creek off the Mississippi. Basically, Rebecca was tired of moving. They lived out their lives just blocks from the Mississippi.
