Thanks for the reply. Are you related to the Fullens, McConnells or Kays? Harry's mother, Ann Kay, was the sister of my Great Grandmother, Hannah Kay, who married Samuel Fish. Harry's father, Thomas Fullen, died between the 1881 and 1891 censuses. Ann moved in with the Fishes on Barker Street by the 1891 census. She was blind by that.
Betty Fullen, Harry's daughter, was my father's cousin. My aunt used to write to her and my great aunts, the Fish sisters, saw her regularly. After my great aunt Florie, Florence Fish, died in the 1950s, we heard that Betty had "gone to Scotland to live with relatives", but we never knew who they were.
