Hi Donnie,
so very pleased to get your information today.I am really new to researching family history. so I must take a few day to analize your info. For your information, I am 70 years old, so I do possess some background history.
The following is backgrund infor on my family.
1.(me)Jimmie O. Fulwood b. 1932 in Tampa, FL
2.(father) James Threat Fulwood b. 1913 in Moultrie,GA.d.1966 in Tampa, FL
3.(gdfather) James Fulwood b. 1877 Thomas co., GA d.1928
4.(ggdfather) James Franklin Fulwood b. 1849 Houston Co., GA d. abt. 1910
5.(gggdfather)John W. Fulwood JR b. 1825 Houston Co., GA d.1862 (civil war)
6.(ggggdfather)John W. Fulwood Sr. b. 1805 NC d. 1850
<#5 and #6 needs further validating>
I have found a Adrew Fullwood who married Katherine Loper in Onslow Co., NC on 1/5/1748 (NC marriage bonds 1741-1868
Bond # 000093101
From the Periodical Source Index (PERSI) 9/9/1796 Andrew Fullwood executed a will. Vol.9 Huxford Genealogical Society Magizine.
Andrew had wife Katherine, Sons John,James and Thomas, daughter Sarah Russell and Grandson Andrew Fullwood.I can find no info on his sons to see if John W. Fullwood is decended from them.
I also find that Thomas Fullwood B 1750 in Onslow NC Married abt. 1772.Produced eight children of which Wilkens Fullwood b. 1773 in Oslow, NC was one.Wilkins Married abt. 1798 (name unknown) in Ware Co., GA and Produced a son John Fullwood b. 1805 in Liberty Co.
From the above, I think it is likely that John W. SR could be decended from Andrew and Katherine Fullwood by way of on of their sons. The other possibility is that JOhn W.SR
is the son born to Wilkins Fullwood in 1805.
I will go over your info and get back to you in a few days.
By the way my dad's mother was a Norman from GA.I have traced them back to 1555.Quite a history of these Normans. My ggdfather Norman died in 1936 and I recall him as he lived with us until his death.
My mother's family came from Norway but that is another story.Really quite interesting though. My wife is a DuPont. She has done much research on her family.
James Franklin Fulwood had a son Mitchell Pazarro Fulwood b.1872 in Thomasville, GA.Mitchell had a son Henry Franklin Fulwood b.1899.I knew these last two men.Mitchell was my gdfather's brother.I only mention this because I see you are searching for another Henry F.Fulwood.My Henry Married Viola Flowers and they had 3 childred.Perhaps Mitchell and his brother James (my gdfather) are related to you Henry F.Fulwood.Mitchell had a twin brother Henry Arthur Fulwood.
Jim
