I'd love to have the ad. I have a calander from Paul Dearing Fulwood's" Fulwood Plant Farms" from 1932. I would also like to find any advertizing signs from Fulwood Farms. I'm told that they were plentiful on fence posts along America's highways in the 1930's - 50's but I have been unable to locate a single survivor.
Paul's ancestors moved from Fort Valley, GA (where my family was from) to Tifton where his company was located. While I am sure that we share the same ancestors, I am having trouble proving which of the Fort Valley Fulwoods was the father of my orphaned Great Grandfather Henry Franklin Fulwood who was born 1876. I have contacted some of Pau'ls descendants but sadly they know and seem to care little of the family history. As far as I can tell, all that remains of Paul's legacy is Fulwood Garden Center in Tifton. It is located in Paul's former home. I tried to visit it earlier this summer when I was there photographing the graves of some of my suspected ancestors, but it was closed at that time. It can be seen at http://www.tiftontourism.com/attractions.html. If you would like to offer it to them first, the address is on that web page. If they do not want it I would like to have it. If they do, I would at least like a photocopy of it.
