William Fullwood, Roanoke Colony 1587
Posted by: Rett Floyd Date: January 21, 2000 at 13:41:58

Does anyone have any ID on the William Fullwood who was associated with the "Lost Colony" of Roanoke, NC? He is listed as an "assistant" to the colony who did not stay in Virginia (NC at the time was part of Virginia). The date given for his association with the colony was 1587. If my history is correct I believe the colony disappeared the following year. Apparently this William though was not there at the time. I'm just wondering if he was connected in any way with the later Fullwoods who came to NC/SC.
