Hi. I just married into the elusive parallel Fultz family that is not related to Obediah even though both lines have many of the same names and lived in the same states and even counties.

Here we go.
My husband Scott Fultz (1967)
son Of Douglas "Pete" Fultz who is the son of Luther Fultz of Harlan County Ky. and his second wife Ruby Davis Fultz. (Luther had a couple wives, a couple mistresses and upwards of 21 kids, so it gets confusing)

Luther is the son of Smith S. Fultz (listed in the 1910 Harlan Census as Solomon S.) and his wife Lucy Anne Tolliver.

Smith was born in Claiborne Co, TN. son of John Fultz Jr. and his 3rd wife Nancy (Feathers?)from Va. in ~1879.

John Smith Jr. was a younger son of John Fultz Sr.(b. ~1792 Va.) and Martha (b.~ 1795 Va.)

Where in Va. I do not know yet.
It is possible that there is another John Fultz making my two documented Johns Jr. and III, but I don't know right now.

It all gets more entangled!
