Fultz/Mullins/Bailey

I'm the great granddaughter of Sarah Rebecca Bailey, daughter of Lucinda Mullins, daughter of Obediah Fulta and Martha. My aunt Lucy Pogue had been working on this family line, and sad to say she passed away last summer. In some of Aunt Lucy's papers, she had a letter from the Indian Bureau that was a response to Sarah's query re: indian monetary settlement money. The letter stated that the names she submitted did not appear on the indian rolls and was it possible that they were slaves or captives? We do not have a copy of Granny's letter to the Indian agent and he did not list them in his reply, so this has baffled us for quite some time. I would really be interested in finding the indian relationship that just has to be from the Fultz line. The Bailey's and Cox's are the other line connected and it is for sure there is no indian blood in those lines. Thank you for your time and am looking forward to hearing from someone who can shed some light on this for me.
