Hi. I hope you all check GenForum soon so you will see this message. Gabriel Fultz, b. abt. 1780, Harlan Co., KY, was the father of my g-g-grandmother, Martha (Patsy) Fultz.

I have a little info on Martha's siblings, and it seems that her father, Gabriel, may have been married twice. Does anyone know? I found a record that Gabriel married Sarah ? about 1810, and a record that he married Leah (Hendrickson??) about 1810-1820. Sarah is listed as being born about 1790-95 in Harlan Co, KY, and died before 1825, married about 1810.

Leah is listed as being born in 1789 in TN, died after 1860.

Gabriel had 6 children that I can find, but it's not clear if Sarah and Leah are the same person, or if some children were born to Sarah, then the others to Leah. The children were: Thursay Ann, b. 1850, Harlan/Bell Co., KY; Elizabeth, b 1811, KY, died 31 Aug. 1875; Sally (or Sarah), b. 1820, KY; Mary (Polly), b. 1826, Harlan/Bell, KY; James, b. 1828, Harlan, KY; Martha (Patsy), b. 1829, KY.

I also saw a posting from one of you that a James Fultz, b. 1828, Harlan, KY, died 1885 in boxley, Newton, Arkansas. He had a sister, Catherine, and a brother, John. I think that this James Fultz, 1828 of Harlan, KY, is different than my James.

Anyone know for sure?

Also, Martha (Patsy) Fultz married Samuel Collett, 20 Feb 1842, in Harlan Co., KY. They had a son, James Franklin Collett. This James Franklin married a woman named Charity about 1867. Do you have any info on Charity? Did Martha (Patsy) and Samuel have any other children?

Thanks so very much. Neschie
