Helene, thank you for your follow-up! When I received the info on my Gabriel & Leah Fultz a couple of years ago, I had not yet learned to record the source. All I remember is that some very nice person (like you) took time to look up some records and send them to me. I believe they were census records for Harlan Co., KY.

Re. the James Franklin FULTZ you mention (b. 1859) being the uncle of my James Franklin COLLETT, I don't think that is possible because my J. F. COLLETT was b. 1845.

The record shows that Gabriel & Sarah (Leah) Fultz had 6 children at the time, only one son. If Catherine and John WERE siblings of the first 6, they would have to have been born AFTER the youngest, Martha (Patsy) Fultz, b. 1829. I guess I answered my own question, didn't I? I posted the query in case anyone had records that proved that Catherine & John FULTZ were 2 more children of Gabriel & Leah, or that the James Fultz who died 1885 in Arkansas was MY James FULTZ. Thanks again!!!
