GW FULTZ (16 Sep 1856-10 Oct 1945) m 25 Sep 1878 Mary Jane CAUBLE (27 May 1858-13 Jul 1947). Mary Jane was the d/o John H. CAUBLE (1831-1919) m 01 Jun 1856 Sarah Ann CHANEY (1840-aft 1880). All of the above in Washington Co., IN.
George Washington FULTZ was the s/o Frederick FULTZ (1 Nov 1799 Augusta Co., VA-28 Sep 1876 Wash. Co., IN) m2 01 Apr 1852 Nancy SMITH (21 Oct 1822 IL-01 Jan 1908 Wash. Co., IN). Nancy SMITH was the d/o Allen SMITH (1785 Botetourt Co., VA-aft 1860 Wash. Co., IN) m bef 1820 Ada ARMSTRONG (abt 1800 VA- aft 1860 Wash. Co., IN. Frederick Fultz (1799-1876) came to Indiana with his father's brother John Martin Fultz (1760-1828) and John Martin's wife Susanna Shutzer and their children. He was left equal shares in his uncle's will along with the uncle's natural children. Many people thought that Frederick was the son of John Martin, but he was a nephew.
Frederick FULTZ was the s/o Frederick Fultz (03 Mar 1765 Shenandoah Co., VA - 09 Oct 1843 Augusta Co., VA) m 09 May 1792 Anna Sabina "Hannah" HANGER (06 Feb 1771-27 Jan 1841 both Augusta Co., VA). Hannah was the d/o Peter HANGER (15 Feb 1729 Eschelbronn, Kraichgau, Germany-1802 Augsuta Co., VA) m abt 1760 Anna Sabina "Hannah" GEBBERT (bef 1733-bef 1802 Augusta Co., VA). Frederick FULTZ (1765-1843) was the s/o the immigrant Johann Martin VOLTZ (24 Oct 1721 Boeckingen, Neckar, Wuerttemberg, Germany-Feb 1782 Shenandoah co., VA) m Anna Margaretha (Maiden name unknown).
