I got this address through the kindness of Mary Ellen Furey from Maine. Are there any Furey's from the Scranton, PA. area? Most Scranton Irish are supposed to be from Mayo - but I haven't found any in my travels there.
There are a number of Furey's in Donegal, and some in Galway too. Of course, Finbarr and Eddie are spreading the idea (that quite a few non-Furey Irish seem to agree with) that Furey is a Traveller's name. Any ideas, names or proofs?
Thanks to whomever for providing such a page.
Keep the Faith,
Jerry Furey
