Dear Lauren
Unfortunately I cannot help you with your search for Anna Furey Meehan but I wondered if you have any further info on Michael Meehan that she married I am involved in Meehan research as these are my ancestors We have a Michael Meehan, a great uncle, who was born in Highwood, Co Sligo on 18 Jan 1887 and emigrated to USA on 21 May 1905 He entered via Ellis Island on The Etruria and may have stayed initially at a Manhattan address We believe he went to Minneapolis/Minnesota later and that he died in service I am not sure what is meant by that phrase "in service" and am trying to discover if he served in any of the armed services We don't know if he married; it's possible he did Or even if he stayed in Minnesota - he may have moved Any insights you could offer into your Michael would help us include or exclude him from our lines of inquiry It is believed he died as a fairly young man
Thanks in advance
Anne Smith
