Hello Maureen
I am researching my Fury Family tree (my mothers maiden name) we have no e in our fury though but I do have a catherine born 1847 according to the 1861 uk census she was born in Lincolnshire which I very much doubt as I have been searching for 3 years & not found her yet her parents are called John & Mary Fury from Ireland John born 1817 his wife was older & born 1814 they had a son Thomas born 1841 Sligo he was my grt grt great grandfather ,John & Mary had other children Anne born 1857 ,John born 1855 & Bridget born 1843.I only have Catherine on the 1861 census then she disappears. My Fury's came over from Ireland I presume during the potato Famine 1845-46 I believe the lived in the Liverpool Manchester area as Bridget lived in Manchester in the 1880s plus in the census she says she's born in Manchester then Sligo so there is definately a connection,if any of these names ring a bell please contact me .
Regards Elaine
