Hello, Peter!

Nice to finally discover someone with this surname! Sorry I have not been checking my old postings very religiously lately. I do not know the parents of either Robert GRAY or Nancy FURNEY, but Robert GRAY is said to have been born "near Dublin" in Ireland. Were your FURNEYs Protestant, by any chance? That is what has confused me about this line since all my other Irish connections have turned out to be Scots-Irish, living in the north (e.g., SHANNON). I have ancestors from all over England. Fewer perhaps from Berkshire than some other counties, but I will sort through my files, and would enjoy corresponding more with you.
