Nancy (FURNEY) GRAY - b. abt 1750 IRL>MD

Robert GRAY was born "near Dublin" in about 1750. He married twice. One was to Mary (Polly) YABO and one was to Nancy FURNEY. Depending on who was the mother of the children, and the consensus seems to be Nancy, they were married before 1773. In that year, they had their first child, James Samuel GRAY, born in Maryland, USA. Other children were John, Mary (Polly), Robert Jr., Samuel, David, Jane (Jenny), Sarah (Sally), Margaret (Peggy), Elizabeth (Betsey) and William Hiram (b. 1799). John was born in Delaware, the next two were probably born somewhere, and by Samuel, the family was at Mt. Eden, Shelby County, KY. My ancestor James Samuel married a Rhoda BEARD, who is another mystery lady so far. Nancy may not quite be a FURNER, but FURNEY is close. In fact I have never seen that name elsewhere, so perhaps she was a FURNER afterall?
