I'm hoping this response gets to you, Judy, it's a long time since your initial posting.

My interest comes from the Jesse Catt side, and was interested in your assertion that he came from Chichester. I've hit a dead end from the Brede / Battle part of the Catt family and there are certainly records from Chichester which fit. Perhaps you could let me know how you know he came from Chichester.

I chased some details for Mary Furner for a while and found that there were two from around the same time (3 years apart) and same region. I haven't yet established a link between them nor found anything further for the Mary Furner you're interested in.

I'd be interested to share whatever info you have descending from these two.
