NEW Wallaces of Moore County, NC Website

I wanted to invite you to my newly created website, This site is dedicated to and primarily contains the descendants of Everet Wallace (c1770-c1845) of Moore County, NC along with over 30,000 names of many of the related and allied families who lived nearby in upper Moore County.

Some of the most prominent families include Maness, Williams, Cockman, Melton, Brown, Stutts, Furr, Sanders, Morgan, Britt, Horner, Hunsucker, Garner, Cagle, Davis, Moore, Kennedy, Richardson, Brewer, Williamson, Hussey, Ritter and many, many more.

I hope you will take a look at this website and possibly find a connection. Like all family researchers, I started out with the primary goal of learning more about a particular line of my family Ė the Wallaces. Over the last 25 years, Iíve stumbled upon many roadblocks and dead ends. So when you canít go back Ė go sideways. To further understand my ancestors, Iíve expanded my research to not only include the rest of my ancestral lines but to also include many of the families that lived in upper Moore County, NC as well. Chances are if your ancestors were from Moore County and lived northwest of Carthage, NC they are here. Iíve even mapped out over 1100 land grants and deeds encompassing over 250 square miles of territory in upper Moore County in an attempt to construct a small neighborhood for my ancestor Everet Wallace. While the information and the maps are great Ė the records themselves contain thousands and thousands of hard-to-find references for Moore County residents and are indexed for ease of searching.

Iíve gone to great pains to insure that the data on this website is as accurate as possible. Please feel free to contact me if you find an inaccuracy or just have a question. I hope that you will share any new information that you might have. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you find something on this site that can help you in your own research. Please bookmark the site as I am adding information daily.
