Furrow Family variations of spelling

I am curious to know what spelling variations you have seen for your Furrow Family, when they first came to America, was there one progenitor or a family, any information i can glean on the History of this surname would be interesting to learn. I am descendant of a Hessian Soldier of the American Revolution whose surname has been seen in at least 25 variations mostly from mistakes on the part of the record taker or maker, misreading of the handwritten form, four of these spellings can be seen in the descendants Fernow, Fearnow, Ferneau, and Fearno. Furnow is commonly seen but was not actually passed down in families. I would be interested in learning of any Furrows living in Berkeley or Morgan Counties of West Virginia around the 1850's. what was percieved to be a mistake in spelling may actually be of your family altogether. A Sarah Furrow marrying a James Kidwell. Well thanks for your time and any information you can provide sincerely Julie Fearnow Clark
