It is quite possible that my Furrows were baptist also. My grandmother was raised a baptist. Her father, Wilbur Furrow may have been adopted, at least that is what my grandmother told my parents. All that my grandmother knew was that his birth mother was from a "well to do family" and it was a scandal back then so he was adopted out. My grandmother always said that the birth mother's family had a well know name, but my parents cannot remember what it was.
